Meet Miki
Hello, my name is Miki and I am a full time Melbourne based Wedding DJ & MC.

My love for music started from a young age, playing cassettes & CD's on my dad's old Pioneer stereo system and recording compilations of my favourite tracks on the cassette player. I also curated different playlists which reflected different moods for each event throughout high school. At my friend's 18th birthday in 2010, he asked me to hook up my iPod as I was the 'music man' and after carefully making a playlist for each section of the night, his party went off - all from an iPod! At the end of the night he encouraged me to start djing and so not long after, I bought my first pair of decks and DJ Miki was born!

As a DJ & MC of over 14 years, I treat each couple as if we are best friends and each event as if it was my own. I pride myself on being professional, reliable and fun to work with and I want your Wedding to be everything you've ever dreamed of and a night to truly remember.

My music styles go from R&B which I love, right through to 80s, 90s classics, House & Dance. I can also play other cultural music to suit your needs. Each event is unique and my DJ & MC style involves quick mixing, hyping and mingling with the crowd on the night.

Music is one thing, but sound is another and my sound system is something I take a lot of pride in. Prior to every event and at each venue, meticulous inspections are conducted to guarantee an optimal setup and layout for my sound system and DJ placement. This commitment ensures that every occasion boasts top-tier sound quality, featuring state-of-the-art equipment, without any compromise whatsoever.

I give my couples a unique experience from the first email, through to planning their event running sheet as their own event planner. We work together on the night so that they are comfortable, stress free and most importantly having fun and enjoying their special day.

From booking, to your Wedding Day.
I strive to ensure a seamless, transparent, and stress-free booking experience, from your initial inquiry to your Wedding Day.

Upon receiving your initial inquiry, I promptly provide availability, information, and pricing via email, and may request further details about your event, such as venue requirements and music preferences. I'm also open to a phone chat if you're more comfortable or if your fingers are just tired of all that typing!
Once you've reviewed the provided information and decided to proceed, you'll receive a comprehensive booking summary, along with an invoice and contract to confirm your reservation.

Upon receipt of your booking fee and agreement to the terms and conditions, your booking will be secured from my end. You'll then receive a personalised Draft Wedding Running Sheet template, which serves as a guide for filling in crucial event details like start and finish times, entrances, song selections, and other formalities. We'll catch up over a cheeky coffee to review and finalise this sheet together a couple of weeks before your Wedding Day.

Balances are due one week prior to the Wedding, allowing ample time from booking to your special day for payment finalisation.

Leading into your special day, you can leave everything to me. I'll manage your event, coordinate with the venue and other suppliers, guide you through the evening keeping everything on time and ensure a stress-free, enjoyable and rocking experience from beginning to end. My aim is to make sure each event is the most amazing night of your lives, just as if it was my own.
